Ricardo Azubell, M.Arch
Founder and Architectural Design Lead
Ricardo Azubell, M.Arch is a distinguished architect celebrated for his innovative design and attention to detail. A graduate of the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, where he earned his architecture license, and the University of North Texas, where he completed his Master of Architecture, Ricardo has built a reputation of unparalleled quality natural stone design for commercial, residential, and municipal projects.
As a Natural Stone Designer, Ricardo seamlessly integrates natural materials to create functional and timeless spaces. His deep understanding of stone elements and sustainable practices enables him to highlight the natural beauty of materials while maximizing efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

Mirelle A. Alaniz
Architectural Designer
Mirelle Alaniz is a licensed architect with a degree from Centro Universitario del Noroeste. Her career encompasses architecture, remodeling, and interior design, working in Mexico and the U.S. From foundational experiences in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, to transformative opportunities in Brownsville and McAllen, Texas, Mirelle has honed her craft in both commercial and residential design.
Driven by a passion for architecture and a commitment to continuous learning, Mirelle values the lessons gained from every collaboration, whether with architects, designers, or tradespeople.

Rodrigo Barboza
Architectural Drafter
Rodrigo Barboza is an accomplished Architectural Drafter who mastered computer-aided drafting at South Texas College. He joined Arte En Cantera for a capstone internship in 2018 and quickly became an invaluable part of the team. Known for his quiet demeanor and exceptional attention to detail, Rodrigo excels in translating architectural design sketches into precise blueprints. Every intricate detail is measured and meticulously drafted for handcrafting, while also providing clear, actionable plans for contractors and builders. Rodrigo’s skilled drafting ensures the design’s integrity and he serves as the bridge between vision and construction. He works closely with contractors, builders, and field installers to ensure smooth installation.
